DeYoung spent an average of six hours per reel meticulously hand painting his design, and the results are considered incredible.

Derek DeYoung created this beautiful ‘Abstract Rainbow’ design on an Abel Creek #1 Style Abel Reel for Kelly’s only.  This reel is truly a ‘One of a Kind’ collector’s item, no other Abel Creek #1s have been manufactured with this design.
