Try punching out a 30' cast upstream from a kneeling position. This rod will handle it with ease and have some left. Again, this is going to give you the massive distance and strenth to pull that heavily weighted stone fly nymph up and out on a roll cast. If that is the kind of full contact fishing you enjoy then this rod will do it all.
