Why I went with Abel: I was sick and tired of breaking $30, $40, $80 --even $200 reels. Being that I am a guide, I'm sure I'm harder on my gear than the average person. Don't you want to know that the gear you're thinking about buying has been pounded and holds up?

I can get you set up correctly on the right trout largemouth pike muskie, even speckled trout and puppy drum, bonefish reel.  When dropping the kinda bucks you do on an Abel, you should be able to talk to someone that has the knowledge to get you set up right the first time.
